Fireworks are one of the most common anxiety triggers in dogs.

Signs of Anxiety

  • Trembling, hiding
  • Panting and pacing
  • Excessive barking
  • Trying to escape
  • Loss of bladder control

On the Night

  1. Keep indoors with curtains closed
  2. Create a safe den with familiar bedding
  3. Play calming music or white noise
  4. Stay calm yourself

Medical Options

For severe anxiety, ask your vet about Sileo gel or other anxiolytic medications. Never use human medication.
