- Panting (unusual in cats - take seriously)
- Drooling
- Red or pale gums
- Vomiting, collapse
Emergency Treatment
- Move to cool ventilated area
- Apply cool water to ears, paws, neck
- Offer small amounts of cool water
- Call vet immediately
Prevention
- Never leave in hot rooms or cars
- Multiple water bowls with fresh cool water
- Cooling mat in summer
